New Zealand police announced today that they are working to remove a video of the shooting incident on two mosques in Christchurch and called on people not to participate in the segment, while Facebook said that it quickly deleted my account on Facebook, And the video after receiving notification from the police.
The 17-minute video shows a white man in camouflage and black clothes heading for what appears to be the Light Mosque in Christchurch.
Police said earlier on Friday that at least 49 people were killed in an attack on mosques in Christchurch, South Island, and announced the detention of three men and a woman in the wake of the attacks.
Police also closed all mosques in the city and tightened security measures on schools.
