The family of a kidnapped Norwegian millionaire woman has received a message from the alleged perpetrators. Family lawyer Svein Holden said at a press conference last Wednesday that those in the family of Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen had reported that according to their own statements, they had the 68-year-old in their power.

However, the suspected kidnappers had not provided any evidence that the woman was still alive, Holden said. Nevertheless, the message is considered a positive sign. It was communicated via a digital platform, the contact had been very limited. The family wishes for a different - and better - way of communication.

Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen has been missing since October 31st. The police went from the beginning of a kidnapping, with their information but only on 9 January to the public. Since then, hundreds of clues have been received by the police. According to the investigators, there was a ransom demand in a cryptocurrency, according to media reports in the amount of nine million euros.
