Policemen in Aachen tracked a herd of horses and a donkey with a bus. Reinforcement was needed to recapture the seven animals.

According to police, the herd had broken out in the night of Easter Sunday from a pasture in the place Kornelimünster and graven about three miles to Walheim. Police officers had initially tried on foot to prevent cross-and cross-running of the animals across the street.

The "quite sporty" officials had not come after and therefore risen in the passing bus, it was said. Other colleagues arrived and drove the animals into a front yard.

Finally, the owner of the donkey and the horses with ropes and holsters came to the rescue. The animals could be brought back to their pasture.
