A man on a plane in the US has a woman groped - and invoked after his arrest on sexist statements of the US President. Donald Trump said, "It's okay to touch women in their intimate places," the man told the police, according to court records.

The defendant evidently referred to a conversation in a US presidential campaign in 2016 in which Trump had boasted that he was a celebrity for women and allowed everything between them even with impunity. Trump later dismissed his remarks as a "dressing room conversation".

The incident in the plane had come on Sunday on a domestic flight from Houston in the state of Texas to Albuquerque in New Mexico: The man grabbed the woman, who slept on a seat in front of him, from behind to the chest. According to the court documents, she first assumed a mistake. Half an hour later, when the man groped her again, she got up and told him to stop.

The woman was allowed to change the seat, the man was arrested after landing in Albuquerque. In the survey, the excavator driver then called on Trump. Several women accuse the US president of sexual assault.
