In order to draw attention to the growing hatred of Jews in Germany, Michel Friedman makes use of a biblical text from the Bible: "There are periods when wolves keep their sheep's clothing, and there are periods when they take off their sheep's clothing, and in that we find ourselves us right now, "said the 63-year-old journalist and TV presenter of the news agency dpa.

"I come from a Holocaust family, and when I was young, my hope was that there would be less hatred of Jews in the younger generation, but I find that it has been passed on to the next generation." There is disinhibition in the bourgeoisie, says Friedman.

"What did the parents say at lunch?"

"Jew-hating is not a German invention, but Auschwitz is a German invention, and that's why the discussion about hatred of Jews in Germany is always different than in the rest of the world," says Friedman, who is the next episode of the report series "Friedman looks" at the world news channel dedicated to the subject of "anti-Semitism in Germany".

"If you're wondering why a 14-year-old suddenly shouts 'Shit Jew' or 'Kanake' at school, then maybe you have to turn the movie back and ask yourself, what did the parents say at lunch?"

Anti-Semitism in Germany "If German politics does not think soon, an exodus will take place"

Friedman also laments the ignorance of the non-Jewish majority society. "As long as the hatred of the Jews is apparently a problem of the Jews, I have a double problem," he says: "the Jew-hater and those who believe it is a problem of the Jews."
