A 73-year-old woman kept her dead husband in their shared flat for a year and a half. The prosecutor Hamburg confirmed the incident. First, the "Bild" newspaper reported on it.
Accordingly, the manager of a two-story apartment in Hamburg's district Pöseldorf worried about the couple. He had not seen the husband for a year and a half and contacted the police.
The officials saw on 19 September after the right. When the wife did not want to open a locked room, the police became suspicious.
"Tragic Family Event"
On the bed in the room they found the already heavily decayed corpse of the husband. The prosecution ordered an autopsy, but found no evidence of a third party debt.
"It is probably a tragic family events," said spokeswoman Nana Frombach. "The old lady was having trouble letting go."
