In the US state of California, a man crashed his plane. The plane landed on Highway 101 at Agoura Hills, 50 miles west of Los Angeles. This reports, among other things, the "Washington Post". The pilot could therefore be saved unhurt before the machine went up in flames.

According to the US Air Safety Authority, the aircraft was a North American AT-6, according to the Post. She was therefore part of the "Condor Squadron". The group flies show fights or parades on remembrance days for veterans.

This explains the livery of the aircraft: on the wings black crosses with white bordering - a symbol, as it used the Luftwaffe of the Wehrmacht.
