When I saw it on television I didn't remember that he had come out looking so bad. It's just that in the images it looks much more dramatic than it was in reality. But he adds that "I suffered a lot, I went to the limit, but I would repeat the experience tomorrow, with Juandi, the coach, everything is easy. I cried when the program ended."

EL MUNDO has been able to chat with the builder to take stock of his time at

El Desafío

, how he experienced the final and to which institution he will donate the 30,000 euros he won for winning the fourth edition of the 7yAcción contest.

How did you experience the final of

El Desafío

? The final was a roller coaster of emotions, to be honest. I felt a great mix of excitement and happiness for having made it this far, but I also had a lot of sadness and sadness when I realized that this incredible experience was coming to an end after four months. Did you even imagine that I could win? Well, look, The truth is that when the program started my goal was none other than to win, but after the first six programs and watching the last one, there was a moment when I lost hope a little. But there were Jorge Salvador, Jorge Ventosa and María Aracil encouraging and motivating me every day, they told me that nothing had been won or lost yet, that if I did my best I could even win the contest. After the first few shows, I learned that the key was to put in the time to test and fight day after day.

"I learned that the key to this program was dedicating time to the tests and fighting day after day"

What did your wife say to you about your victory? María was surprised and very happy, she was really happy. What was the first thing you thought when they told you that you were the winner of the program? The truth is that I didn't believe it. I was convinced that Adrián Lastra would be the winner. But with a lot of effort, hard work and the help of the team, I achieved it. They were four very intense months and a lot of work, but it was worth every moment. Which rival was tougher: Chenoa, Marta Díaz or Adrián Lastra? Without a doubt, Adrián was the toughest rival. Although Chenoa didn't make it easy for us either. They both pushed a lot and made me get the best out of me. I couldn't relax for a second. How would you define each of them? Chenoa is a fighter, competitive and a very good teammate. Marta is fun, somewhat hesitant and sensitive. And Adrián, a true warrior with a sense of humor that made us smile even in the worst moments. I couldn't have had better companions!

"Chenoa is a fighter, Marta is fun and Adrián is a warrior"

How have you seen your relationship with the jury? The truth is, very good, I only have good words for the entire team and specifically for the jury. They were very close and supported us at all times. How is Roberto Leal on short distances? Roberto is incredible! He is always attentive and willing to help us. Very close with all the contestants and always with the best attitude. In addition, he is in charge of giving the musical touch to the program with his rap improvisations, a song is made from a word. I remember very fun moments with him. What was the test that you will not forget? Which one did you like the most? And the least? The test with Burning, without a doubt, was unforgettable. Being on stage with them and having my mother in the audience was something very special. It was a day I will never forget! My father, at the very beginning of Burning, was playing drums with them and, just the day I played with the group for the test, 40 years ago that same song,

Mujer Fatal

, had been dedicated by my father to me. mother at a concert. It was the first time of many in which I cried in the program. And the most challenging test, I would dare to say, was the fire test (the Madrid native had to do a route set on fire in which it could take at most 40 seconds due to the dangers of the flames on his body, breaking three windows, climbing some stairs and jumping into a pool of 30 centimeters of water in which he had to extinguish himself. A challenge he overcame).

"I won't forget the test in which I played drums with Burning"

To which association have you donated the prize and why? I donated the prize to Multiple Sclerosis Spain. It is a cause that is close to my heart and I wanted to contribute to its work. What made you accept the offer to participate in

El Desafío

? My friend Jorge Ventosa had already offered it to me on several occasions (his wife, María Pombo, participated in the second edition of the program), but I couldn't quite find the time and last year I accepted. I proposed it as a personal challenge since I was going to totally get out of my comfort zone. Did you like your time on television? A lot! I felt very comfortable and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Will you repeat in other programs? For now there is nothing concrete, but who knows what the future holds. I am open to new opportunities. What personal projects do you currently have? Right now I am very focused on my company with my brother Jacobo, I will continue creating content for my social networks and we are in the middle of recording the third season of Pombo. I can't wait for you to see it all!
