Shaker Al-Buhaisi Abu Hamza from the Central Governorate Ambulance Center said that he worked during the previous Israeli wars on the Gaza Strip, but he stressed that “this war is completely different by all standards, especially in terms of the ferocity of the Israeli targeting, in addition to the major violations to which the ambulance crews were exposed.”

He added that the Israeli occupation used new types of weapons and missiles in this war, causing terrifying scenes for us and great destruction in everything.

Abu Hamza told the story of the martyrdom of his child who was with him in the ambulance, which he loved madly, and how the occupation soldiers targeted him as soon as he got out of the car.

Abu Hamza said that they suffer the same tragedies as the Palestinian people, from the lack of water, electricity, food and drink. He added that working hours extend over 24 hours, which makes reconciling work tasks with other household duties almost impossible.

Abu Hamza pointed out that the effects of the bullets that penetrated the chassis of the car he was driving caused the death of his colleague, Muhammad Al-Omari, and the wounding of two colleagues, in a clear Israeli violation of international and humanitarian laws.
