Summer in April: Saturday brought sunshine and temperatures of more than 25 degrees Celsius to Lower Saxony. That's why this family even ventured into the Hufeisensee in Isernhagen in the Hanover region. High “Olli” and storm low “Timea” are responsible for the unusually warm weather. Both together pumped subtropical warm air from the southwest towards Germany.

Blooming fruit trees in Lindau: Temperatures of around 25 degrees were measured in Bavaria on Saturday afternoon. The German Weather Service (DWD) expects temperatures of 30 degrees and more over the course of the weekend. Punting trip on the Neckar in Tübingen: Is such an excursion still worth it next week? In many parts of Germany it is expected to remain warm at a maximum of 24 to 29 degrees on Monday.
