This year's insurance premiums for the ``Late-stage Elderly Medical Care System'' for people aged 75 and over are expected to exceed 7,000 yen per month on average nationally for the first time, due to system reforms to reduce the increased burden on working-age people.

The insurance premiums for the "Medical Care System for the Elderly" for people aged 75 and over are revised once every two years for each prefecture, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare compiles the situation nationwide and makes changes for the current and next fiscal year. The estimated amount has been announced.

According to this report, the national average monthly insurance premium per person for this fiscal year is expected to be 7,082 yen per month, exceeding 7,000 yen for the first time.
