According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the number of influenza patients reported by approximately 5,000 medical institutions nationwide in the week ending March 31st was 55,189, 14,321 fewer than the previous week.



The number of new cases per medical institution nationwide was 11.18, a decrease of 2.9 from the previous week, and a decrease for the second consecutive week.
