Al-Dhabibi is studying in the fifth grade of primary school in addition to his work, as 13% of Yemeni children under the age of 15 work in order to help their families with the burdens of life.

In an interview with Al-Yemeniya Channel, Al-Dubaibi said that he earns 950 Yemeni riyals (a dollar equals 0.0040 riyals). In the same interview, he answered a question correctly about the number of pillars of Islam. His distinctive personality and self-confidence were admired by the channel’s followers and activists on social media platforms.

The pioneers of communication interacted with the Yemeni child, who they said was accepted and a model for the conditions of children in Yemen. Yaqoub Baaram said, “This boy enters the heart at once, by God. He is smart, eloquent, self-confident, and a model of childhood whose rights are violated in our country.”

Fatima Al-Sayed said, "Work is not a shame. Even if it is collecting iron or plastic cans. It is not a shame at all. What is shameful is for a man, at full strength, to extend his hands to ask for help, even though he can carry the hole and the iron."

As for Ali, he said, “This is the condition of the majority of Yemeni children: a robbed childhood, poor education, work, and a responsibility that only adults bear... If this indicates anything, it indicates the reality of persecuted childhood in Yemen.”

Ahmed bin Abdul-Jabbar commented on the child’s position by saying, “Yemen is a country of civilization, glory, knowledge, and scholars, but at this time there is a policy of ignoring its people and obliterating the ancient identity of Yemen.”

The comments did not stop on social media platforms, but went beyond offering gifts to the child out of admiration for him.

In an interview with the “Shabakat” program, Muhammad Al-Dubaibi said that he studies at “Al-Qayyim” School, and that he and his brothers are working on this project in order to increase their family’s income.
