The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the Palestinians in the occupied territories to travel to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow, Friday, and called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to gather in front of the American and Israeli embassies and turn it into a “Friday of Anger” to demand an end to the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

In a press conference from the Lebanese capital, Beirut, today, Thursday, the leader of the movement, Osama Hamdan, called on all Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied Palestinian interior to continue their journey to Al-Aqsa Mosque in the coming days, calling for making the last Friday of Ramadan to Intisar Square.

He called on all Arab and Islamic peoples to demonstrate in front of the American and Israeli embassies and to continue all the pressure they have in order to push towards stopping the aggression.

Commenting on the developments in Jordan, Hamdan said that there is no disagreement in the position between the Jordanian government and the people regarding the Palestinian issue, as some say, calling for an end to what he called “fake battles” that are in the interest of the occupation.

Hamdan warned against engaging in plans whose final outcome would be achieving Israel’s goals or standing in its square, and said that the movement calls on everyone to support the Palestinian people.

Netanyahu is evasive and Hamas is sticking to its demands

Regarding the prisoner exchange negotiations, Hamdan said that the movement continues to work to stop the war completely, stressing that the movement “informed the mediators in Qatar and Egypt of its response to the Israeli proposal regarding the prisoner exchange yesterday evening, Wednesday.”

Hamdan said that the movement “presented flexible ideas that were approved by the mediators and rejected by the occupation,” noting that the negotiations “have become a vicious circle due to the intransigence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his quest to buy time and the absence of a real will to reach an agreement.”

Hamdan reiterated the movement’s adherence to its previous position and its emphasis on the necessity of the return of the displaced, the withdrawal of the occupation forces, the entry of aid, the development of a plan for reconstruction, and finally the exchange of prisoners.

The Hamas leader confirmed that the movement showed great flexibility and positivity during the negotiations that took place recently in order to reach a deal that meets the ambitions of the Palestinians, noting that Netanyahu made the negotiations revolve in a vicious circle.

He added, "We presented a fair prisoner exchange deal, but the occupation refuses to respond to all legitimate requests of the Palestinians, and refuses to even reach a real prisoner exchange deal."

Hamdan accused the Israeli Prime Minister of continuing to work to buy time and showing unreal interest in negotiations and the fate of Israeli prisoners, which is not the case.

He stressed that the movement continues its tireless effort to end the war and works with all national responsibility, in order to intensify the introduction of aid and strengthen the steadfastness of citizens, coinciding with the steadfastness of the resistance in the field.

Warning and praise

The Hamas leader warned "all tribes against submitting to any plans that are in line with what the Zionist enemy wants, and praised the national awareness of all tribes."

He said that the operations taking place in the West Bank confirm the unity of the people in the choice of resistance as the only legitimate path to freedom and return, and he called for raising the pace of operations against the settlers.

He added, "The heinous crime committed by the occupation over the course of two weeks in Al-Shifa Medical Complex will remain a witness to the racism of the Israeli regime, and a stain of disgrace on the foreheads of its perpetrators." He said that the international silence regarding these massacres "represents the green light to commit more of them."

He expressed the movement's condemnation of the silent international position regarding the storming of Al-Shifa Hospital, its destruction, and its removal from service in light of the massacres that the population is exposed to that require treatment.

He said that the policy of intimidation against international relief teams requires a stronger stance than the timid condemnation that came out after the targeting of members of the "Global Central Kitchen", for which the occupation admitted its responsibility.

It held the occupation fully responsible for the lives and safety of thousands of kidnapped and detainees who are subjected to systematic torture, and called for immediate and urgent international intervention to save those, some of whom are killed under torture.

He also held the administration of US President Joe Biden fully responsible for Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip by providing it with weapons and political cover since the start of the aggression.
