After an Easter in which copious rains have been the protagonists in almost all of Spain, the water reserve in the swamps has risen to 63.1% of its capacity, that is, 5.3 points compared to last week, which yields
a total of 35,375 (hm³)
of water, a figure that reaches the average for the decade (35,526).
During
Holy Week, rainfall exceeded 100 liters per square meter
in large areas of the south of the Peninsula, points in the center, Galicia and the Pyrenees, more than triple the normal amount for those days in almost the entire country. The exception is the eastern end of the peninsula, the Cantabrian Sea and the south of the Canary Islands.
