At Kairyuoji Temple in Nara City, the white flowers of the Yuki willow are at their peak, heralding the arrival of spring.

On the grounds of Kairyuoji Temple in Hokkeji-cho, Nara City, approximately 150 Yuki Willow trees with small white flowers blooming all over their branches grow wild, and the best time to see them is from the end of March.

In the temple grounds, the Somei Yoshino cherry tree was also blooming with pale pink flowers, and visitors enjoyed the contrast while feeling the arrival of spring by touching the Yuki willow petals with their fingers and taking photos.

A man in his 60s from Yokohama said, ``I came here to see the cherry blossoms, but I didn't expect the Yuki willows to be this beautiful, so I'm very impressed.''

Chief Priest Shigemoto Ishikawa said, ``The flowers are small, but they are in full bloom, so I hope you can feel the power of nature and the importance of every moment.''

Yuki willow can be enjoyed until this weekend.
