In an interview with the American fashion magazine "Allure", Shakira reveals that her two sons Milan and Sasha hated "Barbie" by Greta Gerwig with Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie. An opinion shared by the singer, who finds that the film denigrates men.

A contrarian opinion. While Greta Gerwig's

Barbie

sparked worldwide enthusiasm last summer, Shakira revealed in an interview with

 Allure

magazine that she simply hated the film.

“I want my two boys to feel powerful”

The singer did not see it as a denunciation of patriarchy and an ode to feminism, but rather a call to “prevent men from being men”. The star regrets that her two little boys, Milan and Sasha, did not have a good time in front of

Barbie

. “My sons absolutely hated the film. They felt like they were emasculated. And I agree with them in part,” assures the

 Hips Don't Lie

singer . “I am raising two boys. I want them to feel powerful, too, while respecting women,” continues the woman who would like pop culture to give “power to women without preventing men from being men” .

“We can do anything without losing our femininity”

The singer agrees: "I believe that we must give women all the tools and the confidence, that we can do everything without losing our essence, without losing our femininity (...) I think that men have a reason to being in society and that women also have another reason for being. We complement each other, and this complementarity must not be lost." Shakira did not find this famous complementarity in

Barbie.

And his speech should make more than one feminist jump...
