Early on Monday morning, unknown perpetrators tore out a free-standing ATM in the sales area of a gas station in Grabow (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) and disappeared with it. When the security service arrived shortly after the alarm was triggered, the perpetrators had already left, the police said.
The officers who arrived ten minutes later searched the area with several police cars, but could not find anyone, it was said. Grabow is on Autobahn 14 and there is also an interchange there. The police assume there are several perpetrators and at least two vehicles involved. She did not provide any information about the amount of damage.
