According to the weather forecaster, a week of temperature contrasts is expected in Moscow and the region.

“The first two days are just summer, temperature +18...+22 °C, without significant precipitation. Maybe today there will be short-term rain in some places in the region, but it will not change the weather anywhere. The wind will remain quite dense today and tomorrow and will be from the south at 6-11 m/s. This coming night and the night from Tuesday to Wednesday will be very warm, the temperature will not drop below +9...+12 °C,” Ilyin said.

On Wednesday, he said, a gradual cooling will begin and the temperature will drop by five degrees.

“During the day +15...+17 °C with light rain. The wind will pick up a little and change to southwest. There will be gusts up to 17 m/s. On Thursday and Friday it will become even more seriously cold, with a cold front passing through. It is washed out, so there will be no precipitation. There may be some light rain only from Wednesday to Thursday at a temperature of +2...+7 °C. It is possible that precipitation will occur somewhere in the mixed phase at night. And on Friday there will be no precipitation. And the temperature on Thursday and Friday is +5...+10 °C during the daytime. At night from Thursday to Friday it will freeze to somewhere around 0...-4 °C. But on Saturday at night it will warm up again to -1...+4 °C,” the specialist added.

RT's interlocutor also noted that temperatures will begin to rise over the weekend.

“Of course, it won’t reach the same levels as last weekend. On Saturday +8...+13 °С. On Sunday it is already warmer +12...+17 °C. The weekend will be without precipitation, despite the fact that cloudy weather will prevail with rare clearings,” concluded Ilyin.

Earlier, the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, predicted warming in early April in Moscow.
