　　Among them, the permanent population of Henan Province at the end of 2023 is 98.15 million, the number of births throughout the year is 695,000, and the birth rate is 7.06‰; the number of deaths is 787,000, and the mortality rate is 8.00‰; the natural population growth rate is -0.94‰.

　　Compared with 98.72 million people at the end of 2022, Henan's permanent population decreased by 570,000 people last year.

　　At the end of 2023, the permanent population of Hunan Province was 65.68 million, a decrease of 360,000 from the end of the previous year. The number of births in the year was 395,000, with a birth rate of 6.00‰; the number of deaths was 598,000, with a mortality rate of 9.08‰; the natural population growth rate was -3.08‰.

　　At the end of 2023, the permanent population of Anhui Province was 61.21 million, a decrease of 60,000 from the previous year. The birth rate of the province's permanent population is 6.45‰, the death rate is 8.56‰, and the natural growth rate is -2.11‰.
