This year marks the 60th anniversary of the birth of the poet Haizi and the 35th anniversary of his death. Many critics and literary history researchers have confirmed in relevant articles that during Haizi's lifetime, the promotion of his works mainly came from the magazine "October" and its editor Luo Yihe. In a total of 17 issues of "October Poetry", Haizi's works were exclusively published in 3 issues; in addition to poems, the 6th issue of 1987 also published Haizi's short story "Village" (4 pieces); in the summer of 1988, Haizi's works In "October", he received a rare recognition in his short career: his poem "Farming Eyes" won the "Honorary Award of the Third "October" Literary Award". Haizi and Luo Yihe have long become outstanding representatives of new Chinese poetry, and they are also important pages in the history of contemporary literature witnessed by "October". Many years later, in March 2024, the new issue of "October" launched the "Haizi Memorial Edition", inviting important critics and poets in the contemporary poetry world to write articles from different perspectives to commemorate the poet Haizi.

Zang Di is one of the six authors of this "October" "Haizi Memorial Collection". Zang Di believes that Haizi’s infinite love for life can be read from his poems, which is a very precious legacy in poetry culture. Haizi belongs to the third generation of poetry, but his positioning of the poetry author is "the king is writing poetry", which is a very lonely subject confirmation, so his poetry is full of extraordinary and even inhuman language of life. Zang Di emphasized that Haizi also has a happy side, and readers should feel the "ecstasy" in his writing. Moreover, this "ecstasy" is inseparable from Haizi's philosophical qualities and aesthetic pursuits.

Xidu has extensive research on Haizi's long poems. He believes that Haizi's long poems originally had an ice age. After the ice melted, they came to the river age, to land, and then to fire. "Entity" was an important concept in Haizi's period. By the time he wrote "Seven Books of the Sun", this "entity" had abdicated to some extent, and the concept that replaced it was "illusion." Haizi's early style was very sculptural. Later, as the internal heat increased, the ice form gradually melted, and in the end there was no form at all. The passion of poetry eventually becomes a flame that gives itself shape.

Leng Shuang said that Haizi was able to penetrate into the consciousness of primitive human beings from his daily experience, and his writing brought a very different texture to the entire new Chinese poetry. At the same time, Haizi also has special significance in contemporary spiritual history. His works formed an important part of the spiritual atmosphere of poetry writing at that time, and this spiritual power still has far-reaching influence today.

Dai Weina said frankly that day that she first started writing poems by imitating Haizi. Unlike Xidu and others, by her generation, Haizi had already been put on the altar. In her opinion, the most precious wealth left by Haizi is that he truly expanded the personality of a generation, modern poetry and even the nation. His poetic language carries the glory and splendor that has not been smoothed away. Zhengmao has truly integrated into the youth of the times. Poets after Haizi will always have fragments of his spirit shining on them. Dai Weina also believes that the unavailability and powerlessness of love constitute an important part of Haizi's life, which in turn converges into the gushing willpower of life.

Peng Min was the host of this event. He placed Haizi's poetry in a broader and deeper historical space to re-identify it, and discussed with the guests the precious legacy of Haizi's poetry and its influence on poets of his generation and future generations. and Haizi’s evaluation issues. He believes that with the passage of time, people's understanding and appreciation of Haizi have become more objective, more accurate and deeper. (over)
