Sergei Zhukov was unable to return the rights to a number of songs by the group “Hands Up!”

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Courts of General Jurisdiction of the City of Moscow.

The meeting took place on March 28. We are talking about songs such as “Don’t sit at home,” “I won’t give you to anyone,” “Well, where are you, girls?” and etc.

The trial began in 2023. Sergei Zhukov and former member of the group Alexey Potekhin filed a lawsuit against the once producer of the musical group Andrei Malikov and Jem Publishing House LLC to invalidate the deal on the transfer of rights to phonograms.

“In refusing to satisfy the plaintiffs’ stated demands, the court, among other things, proceeded from the fact that the plaintiffs knew about the legal relations that had developed between the parties, but did not take any action to challenge them for 20 years,” the source said.

During the appeal process, the judge's decision remained unchanged.

Earlier, singer Lev Leshchenko said that he might soon leave the stage.
