As a major forestry county, Huaiji County has a precise forest quality improvement task of 92,200 acres this year. According to Yu Xiaojun, Secretary of the Huaiji County Party Committee, the county has completed artificial afforestation of 3,300 acres, transformed 3,000 acres of low-quality and low-efficiency forests, closed mountains for afforestation, and completed afforestation of 6,080 acres.
Liu Chuang, director of the Zhaoqing Municipal Forestry Bureau, said that since the beginning of spring, all counties and districts in Zhaoqing have vigorously carried forward the glorious tradition of "Yueshan afforestation" and carried out afforestation and greening.
