For this reason, the prefecture and the Chiba City Board of Education have introduced a system that will cover teachers' repayments up to approximately 3 million yen for the Japan Student Services Organization's Type 1 Scholarship, which is available to students with excellent academic performance. Target students are university and junior college students who will be employed as teachers at elementary and junior high schools within the prefecture between the new academic year and 2029. Students must apply to the prefecture and Chiba City Board of Education and pass an examination while they are still students. .

According to the Prefectural Board of Education, this is the first system in the country to cover the entire repayment of teachers' scholarships.
