According to the investigation, it appeared that the two young men were selling boxes of paper tissues in the Rashidiya camp, and it turned out that they were sent to plant a tracking device in the car of the leader of the Qassam Brigades, which facilitated the goal of the Israeli raid.

The two young men admitted that their employer was Hassan Fayyad, a servant of one of the mosques in the Al-Maashouk area in southern Lebanon. He exploited them by giving them one million Lebanese pounds, equivalent to 11 US dollars, to spy and plant the device in the car of the martyr Mustafa.
