A Guinean nationality manager was arrested at an apparel store in Harajuku, Tokyo, for allegedly possessing a fake hoodie from the popular brand Stussy for the purpose of selling. It appears that he was selling counterfeit branded goods to young people who visited Takeshita Street, and the Metropolitan Police Department is warning people to be careful not to become victims.

The person arrested was Diallo Abdollahman (52), a Guinean national who is the manager of the clothing store "WESTBOY71" in Harajuku, Tokyo.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, on the 27th, a man was suspected of violating trademark law for possessing three fake hoodies from the popular brand Stussy for the purpose of selling.

When the hoodie was appraised, it was discovered that the fabric used and design specifications were different from the original.

From last year to this year, junior high and high school students who visited Harajuku on school trips have been complaining that they were lured into a store by a foreigner who approached them on Takeshita Street and sold them clothes, and the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the complaint. The investigation was underway.

Approximately 230 other fake T-shirts and hats from brands popular among young people, such as ``Forty Seven'' and ``Chrome Hearts,'' were also seized from the store.

The Metropolitan Police Department says junior high and high school students who come to Tokyo during spring break and young people who have come to Tokyo to attend higher education are likely to be victims of the crime, so they are warning them not to respond to touts and to check the appropriate price before purchasing.

The store manager has declined to confirm the investigation.
