Princess Aiko, the eldest daughter of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, visited Ise Grand Shrine in Mie Prefecture on the 26th, and then traveled to Nara Prefecture on the 27th to visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Jimmu.

This visit was to announce her graduation from Gakushuin University, and Princess Aiko arrived at the Mausoleum of Emperor Jimmu in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture just before 2:30 p.m.

Emperor Jinmu is said to be the first emperor in the Nihon Shoki and other records.

This is Princess Aiko's first visit to the shrine in eight years since her visit with Their Majesties, and the first time she has visited the shrine alone.

Princess Aiko, wearing a long gray dress, walked slowly down the gravel-paved approach to the Emperor's mausoleum, which was surrounded by trees, and offered a tamagushi (a tamagushi) to the shrine.

During this visit to Mie and Nara prefectures, which was her first solo visit to the region, Princess Aiko was welcomed by locals and tourists everywhere she went.

When I'm in the car, I open the window and wave to the roadside, and when I visit local elementary school students, I respond with a smile when they say things like, ``You graduated from college, right?'' or ``I saw you on the news.'' It was being done.

Princess Aiko will return to Tokyo on the night of the 27th.
