Forty years ago today, on March 26, 1984, one of the major figures in 20th century African history died: Guinean President Ahmed Sékou Touré. Forty years later, his record continues to divide, particularly in his country, Guinea. For some, he was a visionary, for others a tyrant. Two irreconcilable points of view?
