King Charles: “Can I do this, can I do that?” he asks his nephew

Britain's King Charles is unhappy because his recovery from cancer is taking longer than he would have liked, his nephew Peter Phillips told Sky News. "He's frustrated because he can't do everything he'd like to do," said the 46-year-old. Charles is pragmatic and understands that recovery takes time, but he definitely wants to return to normality.

"He's constantly pushing his staff and everyone else - his doctors and nurses - to be able to ask them, 'Can I do this, can I do that?'"

Phillips became the first member of the royal family to speak in more detail about the monarch's health. He is the eldest of the eight grandchildren of the late Queen Elizabeth and first son of Princess Anne.

Possible participation in the Easter service

Charles, 75, hopes to be able to attend the Easter service next Sunday, the British tabloid "Mirror" and the BBC reported; his participation has not yet been confirmed. Kensington Palace announced that neither Kate nor her husband, heir to the throne Prince William, will attend the Easter service.

Charles underwent surgery for an enlarged prostate in January. In February, Buckingham Palace said he was undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.

British Queen Camilla said on Thursday during a visit to Northern Ireland that her husband Charles was "very well."
