The actress Silvia Tortosa has died at the age of 77, as announced this Saturday by the Union of Actors and Actresses on their X account (formerly Twitter). "Rest in peace, partner," they lamented, along with a photo of the actress.

Tortosa had a long professional career in film, theater and television. In this last field she stood out especially, since she was one of the presenters of the musical program Apaluso and she appeared in successful series such as Curro Jiménez, Hostal Royal Manzanares or Farmacia de Guardia, among others. One of her last jobs was in 2011, when she played Carmen Cervera in a miniseries about her life.

In cinema, Cervera appeared in more than twenty films, with titles such as Asignatura Pdiente (by José Luis Garci), Muñequitas Lindas (which she directed) or Pánico en el Transiberiano (by Eugenio Martín). In theater, she also has around twenty participations in plays.
