  Lin Rui, director of the Guangdong Center of the China Will Database, said that in the past, the people who made wills in Guangdong were mainly "60 to 70 years old" and "71 to 80 years old", but in recent years, "60 to 70 years old" will account for the proportion in 2023 rose to 61.43%, a significant increase from 43.68% in 2017, and the number of young and middle-aged people is also increasing; while the age group "71 to 80 years old" dropped to 26.71%, which shows that Guangdong people are more concerned about personal property.   Lin Rui said that specifically in Guangdong, from 2017 to 2023, the main properties disposed of by people making wills in Guangdong were real estate, maintaining a level of 99%; bank deposits were second only to real estate.
