A teenager near Bonn unsettled a passer-by so much with his excited squeals while playing computer games that he worriedly alerted the police. The man heard cries for help and “hysterical screams” from an apartment in Bornheim-Walberberg and then called the emergency number, the police said.

However, when the officers rang the doorbell at the apartment in question, they met a "visibly surprised couple of parents." The two explained that their 14-year-old son had recently played “Fortnite” on the computer and was loudly excited.

But the boy “suddenly calmed down” and was already asleep when the police rang the bell. The parents therefore promised to follow up on what happened with their son.
