The "Plan" aims to establish a scientific, accurate and efficient management and control system for key areas of groundwater pollution prevention and control, and divides Ningxia's key areas of groundwater pollution prevention and control into two categories: protection areas and control areas, with a total area of 2460.33 square kilometers, accounting for 10% of Ningxia's area. 3.70%.
Among them, the protection area covers an area of 597.60 square kilometers. According to the situation of groundwater drinking water sources, it is divided into first-level protection areas, second-level protection areas and quasi-protection areas (recharge areas); the management and control area covers an area of 1862.73 square kilometers, based on groundwater functions.
