On February 13, 2024, the Corps launched an investigation into the travel agency.

After investigation, the travel agency's behavior violated Article 35 of the "Travel Agency Regulations", which constituted the travel agency's violation of the travel contract, causing damage to the legitimate rights and interests of tourists, and failing to take necessary remedial measures. Administrative penalties such as revoking the travel agency business license shall be imposed.

  Case 2: Tour guide Jiao Moumou conducted tour guide activities to deceive and coerce tourists into spending money.

  On February 13, 2024, the Corps received a report from the masses stating that the tour guide Jiao Moumou was suspected of deceiving and coercing tourists into spending during the tour group.

During the investigation of Jiao, the Corps confirmed that the tour group involved was appointed by Beijing Zhongcheng International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. to serve as a tour guide.

On February 19, 2024, the Corps opened a case to investigate the travel agency on the grounds that the tour guides it appointed deceived and coerced tourists to consume during guided tours, or colluded with operators to deceive and coerce tourists to consume.

Through evidence collection and investigation in accordance with the law, it was found that the behavior of the tour guide and travel agency violated Article 23, Item 5 of the "Tour Guide Management Measures". The travel agency involved was fined 30,000 yuan and ordered to suspend operations for three months for rectification. The tour guide Jiao Moumou who was directly responsible for the case was fined 5,000 yuan and had his tour guide license temporarily suspended for three months.

  Case 3: Beijing Zhongbo Travel Agency Co., Ltd. conducted false propaganda and misled tourists.

  On February 20, 2024, during daily online inspections, the Corps discovered a clue about suspected false propaganda about Beijing Zhongbo Travel Agency Co., Ltd.

In this regard, the Corps launched an investigation on the same day on suspicion of illegal activities by the travel agency for false propaganda and misleading tourists. After investigation, the travel agency violated the provisions of Article 32 of the "Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China" and its behavior constituted false information. According to the law, the Corps revoked the travel agency business license and imposed a fine of 15,000 yuan on the person directly responsible.

  The Corps reminds tourists visiting Beijing to pay attention to the travel agencies included in the "Top Ten Complaints to Beijing Travel Agencies" published regularly by the culture and tourism authorities when registering for group tours online, and to choose some regular travel agencies with high integrity and good reputation. .
