　　Kunming Grand View Tower is located on the north bank of Dianchi Lake. It was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The overall style inherits the mainstream traditional Chinese architecture, and the colorful paintings and decorations highlight the local ethnic characteristics.

Because it faces Dianchi Lake and is good at the scenery of lakes and mountains, it was named "Daguan Tower".

After it was completed, countless literati wrote about it, leaving many poems and couplets with excellent poetry and prose.

During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the famous scholar Sun Beard went up to the building to pick up a pen and wrote the 180-character "longest couplet in the world", which has been passed down to this day.
