The comedy series “Inheritance” will start on the TNT channel on March 18.

The directors of the project were Anya Mirokhina (“Frostbitten”), who also wrote the script, and Dmitry Menyailo (“The Nerd and the Superwoman”).

According to the plot, Victor abandoned his family 25 years ago and fled to Italy to hide from the authorities and not go to jail due to illegal profits.

Having established a life abroad, he decided to return to his wife Tatyana and three grown children - Yura, Masha and Igor.

The reason for the spectacular appearance was the wife's anniversary - an event at which the family will definitely be together.

But the children thought all their lives that their father was dead, so Victor’s appearance shocks them.

Moreover, having learned that he actually just ran away, his sons and daughter do not want to know him and do not intend to accept him back into the family.

Tatyana agrees with them - she still harbors a grudge against her husband for leaving her penniless.

However, life taught Victor not to give up and to find an approach to any person, especially to those who need money.

Having learned about the family's financial difficulties, a wealthy and cunning father offers the children a deal and announces a competition for the best child of the month.

The main prize is €1 million. Igor and Masha at first refuse to “sell out” to their dad, but when their eldest son is fired from his job and the girl’s store burns down, they change their minds.

But the younger Yura immediately agrees to Victor’s conditions in the hope of receiving a large sum.

The children have to show love and favor to their father, joke and spend time with him in order to receive a fabulous inheritance and at the same time get to know each other better.

However, not only the family became the reason for Victor’s return to his homeland: the hero also wants to get rid of the person responsible for his escape in the past.

The series stars such artists as Alexander Robak (“Bullfinch”, “Insomnia”), Nonna Grishaeva (“What are men talking about”, “Daddy’s Daughters. New”), Margarita Abroskina (“Nastya, pull yourself together!”, “Rugby” ), Gleb Kalyuzhny (“Difficult Teenagers”, “Vampires of the Middle Zone”), Roman Fomin (“Eighties”, “University. New Dorm”), Anna Nemchenko (“Matchmakers 6”, “Yura the Janitor”), Elena Alferova (“ Two Hills", "Grand") and others.

The main actors unconditionally got used to their roles, each of which is special in its own way.

Russian viewers have long had no doubt about Nonna Grishaeva’s talent.

The Honored Artist of Russia also convincingly played Tatyana in this series.

The heroine played by her is a loving mother, a kind woman who, despite her rage and resentment, leaves Victor little chance of atonement for his sins, does not forbid him to see his children and does not dictate to the children what to do with their father’s proposal.

The image of a sensual, emotional and at the same time strong woman fits perfectly with Grishaeva’s appearance.

The sons Yura and Igor were played by Gleb Kalyuzhny and Roman Fomin, respectively.

Both are very different from each other - viewers see Igor as a responsible office plankton, a conservative who is used to being not just the eldest in the family, but also the main man.

At the same time, in some scenes it is clear that he is an insecure boy who lacks his father’s upbringing and love.

Yura is a typical representative of modern youth, a blogger with a penchant for beautiful and expensive things.

The personalities of the characters are also reflected in their appearance: if Igor prefers a formal look - shirts, trousers, then Yura, on the contrary, experiments in clothes and colors, for example, wears bandanas, pink shirts and sunglasses with rhinestones.

The role of Masha was performed by Margarita Abroskina.

This heroine is also a very unusual person: at 30 years old, she prefers pajamas and slippers with cartoon characters and owns a store for funeral bouquets and wreaths near the cemetery.

Alexander Robak, who played Victor, deserves special attention in the cast.

He created a character who is interesting to watch and with whom you want to sympathize.

Since the character was, judging by the plot, not a completely respectable citizen, and later lived in Italy, two mentalities were mixed in him: the viewer sees a kind of “godfather”, a mafioso with the habits of a Russian gangster of the 1990s.

The costume and makeup artists also made a significant contribution to the image of Victor, since it is the hero’s appearance that evokes associations with the Italian mafia - a thin mustache, scarves around his neck instead of a tie, dressing gowns, a gold watch on his wrist and a large ring on his little finger.

Plus, he smokes cigars and reads Italian media.

Particularly impressive and amusing is Victor’s first appearance in the series - the scene in which the hero drives up in an expensive car with a driver to an apartment building in Reutov.

When his daughter accidentally drives into the car, he, imposingly smoking, orders the driver to get out and calm the girl down, after which he throws him a small bundle of money.

The plot is not at all realistic, but it captivates thanks to the dynamics, images, irony, excellent humor, an abundance of jokes and funny scenes and underlying meanings, the main one of which is the importance of family ties.

And if the first two episodes introduce the story and do not contain shocking twists, then, as the authors of the project promise, the audience will be treated to an unexpected crime storyline, which should change a lot in the characters’ worldview and create intrigue.

The series will not let you get bored for a minute and will appeal to lovers of light humor and those who want to relax in front of the TV after a hard day at work.

It touches on family problems and relationships that are understandable to every viewer: be it quarrels between brothers, a wife who constantly reminds her husband about the mortgage, and much more.

"The Inheritance" is a folk story for a wide audience.
