In response to an issue in which personal information, including the names of the parties involved in four cases, including sexual assault cases, was leaked outside the Kagoshima Prefectural Police Headquarters, the prefectural police announced on the 18th that similar internal documents containing a large amount of other personal information had been leaked. It was revealed that there was a high possibility that the information had been leaked, and General Manager Akiaki Nogawa apologized.

On the 12th of this month, the Kagoshima Prefectural Police Headquarters announced that the personal information of 12 people, including the names of the parties involved in four cases, including a sexual assault case that occurred at a residential treatment facility for coronavirus patients, was recorded. It has been revealed that the ``List of Complaints and Complaints Case Handling List'' has been leaked to an external party.

Regarding this, Director Nogawa and others announced at a press conference that it was highly likely that similar internal documents containing a large amount of other personal information had also been leaked.

On the 16th, an online article in ``Modern Business'' reported that ``the leaked personal information amounted to more than 300 people in over 100 cases,'' along with an image of ``a list of complaint/accusation case processing records.'' I checked the contents and found out.

Chief Nogawa apologized, saying, ``We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern we have caused the citizens of the prefecture.''

Kagoshima Prefectural Police are proceeding with the identification of documents that may have been leaked, notifying and apologizing to those involved, and investigating the circumstances surrounding the leak.
