A 30-year-old woman and her partner were traveling on a train from Prague to Munich on Sunday evening around 5:30 p.m.

The couple kissed in the aisle of the train, whereupon a passenger shouted at the two - apparently the 46-year-old had something against affection in public.

When the couple kissed again shortly before entering Munich Central Station, the woman hit the 30-year-old on the shoulder.

A federal police spokeswoman said on Monday.

Accordingly, the blow caused pain in the shoulder, but the person attacked did not need medical treatment.

The suspect, who was known to the police, was temporarily taken into custody at Munich Central Station and then released.

The 46-year-old now has to answer for bodily harm.
