Eleven middle school and high school students living in Ibaraki Prefecture were arrested by the police for allegedly throwing raw eggs at a police station in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture, during what they called the "Mappo Game" among their friends.

According to the police, in November of last year, 10 raw eggs were thrown at the office building and cars at the Tsuchiura Police Station in Tsuchiura City, and six motorcycles being chased by police cars on nearby roads drove meandering and ignored traffic lights. It means that I did something like that.

As the police proceeded with the investigation, it was discovered that a group formed by 11 middle and high school students aged 14 to 18 at the time living in the prefecture was suspected of being involved under the name ``Mappo Game.'' Nine people were arrested on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act by driving in a dangerous manner, and all of them were referred to prosecutors on suspicion of forcibly obstructing business operations by throwing raw eggs at them.

Just before the incident, the group posed as ordinary people and contacted the police saying, ``There is a runaway motorcycle in front of the station.''

In response to the investigation, both admitted the charges and made statements such as, ``I thought if I threw a raw egg at them, they would go crazy and chase after me. It was fun to chase them with police cars.''
