  In order to effectively carry out campus management during the cherry blossom blooming period in 2024, ensure the normal progress of school teaching, scientific research and other work, and create a safe, civilized and harmonious campus environment, in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations and the guidance of relevant departments of the Hubei Province and Wuhan Municipal People's Governments , combined with the actual situation of the school and after research, the special announcement is as follows:

1. Campus is open on a limited basis

  Wuhan University is an important national teaching, scientific research and talent cultivation site. The services and safety guarantee conditions for receiving public visits are limited, and it can only be opened on a limited basis.

During the blooming period of the cherry blossoms, strict control will be implemented at the school gate and some areas within the school. The control period is from March 18 to April 6 (it will be adjusted in time depending on the end of the flowering period).

The public must make an appointment to enter the school.

Among them, the school will set up a special cherry blossom viewing session for high school students on March 23 (Saturday), and reservations from other members of the public and alumni will not be accepted on that day.

At the same time, the school recommends that the public avoid peak times or choose other destinations to visit for cherry blossom viewing.

2. Reservation is required for public cherry blossom viewing

  During the cherry blossom management period, real-name free reservations can be made through the school's designated online reservation channel, which is the only way for the public to enter the school to enjoy cherry blossoms.

  The reservation period for entering the school is from March 20 to April 6, from 08:30 to 17:30 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 18:00 on weekends.

  Starting from 20:00 on March 17, the public can enter the Wuhan University cherry blossom viewing reservation system through the official website and official WeChat of Wuhan University, select the "Public Cherry Blossom Viewing Reservation Channel", and fill in the name, ID card (or military officer's ID card, passport, etc. Valid ID), mobile phone number and other personal information to make a reservation for the visit in 3 days.

  The school does not accept any form of social group reservations.

The daily reservation limit is 20,000 people on weekdays and 40,000 people on weekends.

Starting from March 20, the public who have successfully made free reservations can enter the school to view cherry blossoms after verifying their information through the school’s designated channel.

3. Establish a special cherry blossom viewing session for high school students

  In order to further implement its status as a talent training center and strengthen the connection between universities and middle schools, March 23 (Saturday) will be set as a special cherry blossom viewing day for high school students this year.

Starting from 20:00 on March 20, high school students can enter the Wuhan University cherry blossom viewing reservation system through the official website and official WeChat of Wuhan University, select the "Special Cherry Blossom Viewing Channel for High School Students" to register, and fill in the identity information (name, ID number, Mobile phone number), school information and other real information to register the visit on March 23.

High school students under the age of 18 must register the information of a guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian, and the guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian must accompany them on the day of cherry blossom viewing.

  On March 23 (Saturday), successfully registered high school students and one guardian or adult authorized by the guardian must bring the original identity information certificates, student information certificates and other materials registered in the system, and go through the school's open gate (Luojia Gate). , Hongyi Gate, Luonan Gate, Chagang Gate, Yangbo Gate) after verifying the information, enter the school to enjoy cherry blossoms.

4. Establish a cherry blossom viewing channel for alumni to return to school

  Starting from 20:00 on March 17, alumni can enter the Wuhan University cherry blossom viewing reservation system through the official website and official WeChat of Wuhan University, and select the "Alumni Return to Campus Cherry Blossom Viewing Channel" to register for a visit three days later.

  After successful registration, take your ID card (or passport, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan pass, etc.) and go through the "Reservation Visitor Channel" for verification before entering the school to enjoy cherry blossoms.

5. Double verification system is implemented for admission to the school

  On weekdays during the cherry blossom season, the school will set up "reservation visitor passages" at Luojia Gate (main gate), Hongyi Gate (west gate), Luonan Gate (Affiliated Middle Gate), and Chagang Gate. On weekends, Yangbo Gate will be opened, and other school gates will be closed. ; The valid identity information submitted in the reservation system is the only proof for the public to verify admission to the school after a successful reservation, and must be carried with you.

  During the entrance period, visitors with reservations can bring their valid IDs and verify their reservation information at the "Reservation Tourist Channel" before entering the school. Then, proceed to Luoying Lake, Wanlin Art Museum, Luojia Villa, Institute of Frontiers and Oceans, or Kunpeng Square. Wait for the secondary verification point and verify your identity information again at the "Reservation Visitor Channel" before you can enter the cherry blossom viewing area.

6. Vouchers for teachers, students, employees and related personnel of the school to enter the school

  Teachers and students of our school can enter and exit the campus and cherry blossom viewing area through the "school personnel passage" with their campus card, work ID or student ID (except for closed school gates).

For personnel employed under contracts in various units within the school, labor outsourcing personnel from secondary units, self-employed personnel from independent legal entities, and self-employed personnel from affiliated schools, the responsible units within the school will summarize the relevant information and submit it to the school party and government office for approval three days in advance. ID cards are required to enter and leave the campus and cherry blossom viewing areas (except for closed school gates).

  Those who come to the school to discuss work, participate in recruitment, conferences, training and other activities should have relevant information compiled by the relevant responsible units or counterpart units within the school, and report to the school's party and government office for approval three days in advance. They can then enter the school with their ID cards; take exams or Those taking the postgraduate re-examination can enter the school with corresponding certificates; on-campus residents, affiliated schools and parents of kindergarten students who have applied for campus express access control permissions to pick up and drop off students can enter and exit the campus through the express access control, but the above-mentioned personnel cannot enter the cherry blossom viewing area without an appointment.

7. Implement traffic control on campus

  During the cherry blossom season, all motor vehicles (including vehicles for cherry blossom viewers with successful reservations) are prohibited from entering the school.

If you really need to come to school to handle business, the corresponding unit within the school must report the matter and vehicle information to the Security Department for approval, and then the designated school gate will verify your entry.

Shared bicycles, shared electric vehicles, and shared cars are prohibited from entering the school.

  Motor vehicles are authorized to pass through the school gate normally (except for closed school gates). Vehicles of unit staff in the core cherry blossom viewing area on campus can pass with passes. Other vehicles are prohibited from entering the core cherry blossom viewing area.

During weekends, all motor vehicles are prohibited from entering the core area of ​​the campus for cherry blossom viewing (the traffic control plan for key sections such as the entrance and exit of the school gate and the central area will be separately released by the school security department).

8. Providing certain services to the public

  During the cherry blossom season, drinks and other sales services will be provided at designated locations on campus, and a number of mobile toilets will be set up.

Without the approval of the school security department, no organization, group or individual is allowed to set up stalls in the school; they are not allowed to post, hang or distribute flyers or advertisements; they are not allowed to engage in other for-profit activities.

The school cooperates with the public security and urban management departments to deal with those who violate the above regulations in accordance with the law.

9. Maintain teaching, scientific research and office order

  The public is not allowed to visit teaching, scientific research, office buildings (library, rooms, institutes) and student dormitories on campus.

The student cafeteria does not provide public dining services.

Without the approval of the Propaganda Department and the Security Department, it is strictly prohibited to fly "low, slow, and small" aircraft in the campus airspace.

10. Prevent property loss and personal safety

  Except for the online reservation channel designated by the school, our school has never entrusted any other organization or individual to provide reservation or visit services.

The public is advised to be wary of any form of paid services (such as "no-appointment" admission to the school, private tour buses, paid tour guides, etc.) to avoid being deceived.

  Affected by the low temperature, rain, snow and freezing disasters in late winter and early spring, some facilities and trees on campus were damaged to a certain extent. The school has made every effort to carry out post-disaster reconstruction and clearing of fallen trees. In addition, the campus has many steep slopes. Visitors to the school are asked to pay attention to personal safety. , do not go to prohibited or dangerous sections, and do not climb mountains.
