Why is he dawdling around like that?

Apparently a driver in Nice, southern France, was very upset about an ambulance.

He had an injured child on board and the driver carefully drove slowly so as not to aggravate the child's injuries.

Then the rescue driver saw in the rearview mirror how the car behind him flashed its headlights, as the newspaper “Nice-Matin” reported on Sunday.

He stopped, thinking it might be the child's father.

Instead, the driver yelled at the paramedics because of the slow speed.

Finally he slapped and punched the rescue driver.

The attacker must now expect a report, as the rescue service told the newspaper.

In Germany too, rescue workers continue to experience violent attacks.
