To make art accessible to everyone, there is the mobile museum.

The MUMO is a mobile truck designed by the Center Pompidou.

Since last month, he has been traveling the roads of Île-de-France to exhibit contemporary works for free.

Exporting art outside of Paris is the whole objective of this traveling museum.

The MUMO stopped at Milly-la-Forêt in Essonne.

On the village square, it's impossible to miss the multi-colored red, green and pink truck.

Inside, drawings, paintings and sculptures.

25 works of art that Hossein, 13, discovers with enthusiasm.

For him, going to the museum is exceptional.

Making culture accessible to all

“We can see things today that we are not used to seeing on a daily basis. It’s very good because it allows us to build our general culture.”

Making culture accessible to all is precisely the goal of this museum on wheels: "We are going to go to places far from museums, but we are also going to go to priority areas where, even if the museum is nearby, the public does not go there due to a lot of psychological barriers", explains Lucie, coordinator.

When he gets out of the truck, Hossein is excited and he only wants to go and discover new works of art.
