African Games: two Ghana-Senegal shocks in the semi-finals of the competition
While the African Games are in full swing in Accra, Ghana (March 8 to 23), the semi-finals of the football tournament are already looming in the competition.
It is for the moment a solid success for Senegal, who placed their two U20 men's and women's teams in the last four.
The Lioncelles showed the way first by qualifying thanks to their demonstration against Morocco (4-0) on March 15.
The Cubs followed suit by beating Nigeria (3-2) thanks to goals from Idrissa Gueye and Famara Camara.
In both cases, the players of the Senegalese selection will face Ghana, host of the competition, in the semi-finals to try to get a little closer to the gold medal.
