, the actress who played Terry Brook for several seasons on the legendary series
General Hospital
, was found dead last Tuesday in a field covered in weeds behind a commercial building in San Jacinto, California.
Although her body was found several days ago, the circumstances of
Robyn Bernard
's death still remain a mystery.
According to what the Riverside County Coroner's Office told the Hollywood Reporter, the actress's body was found early Tuesday morning.
The cause of death is currently being investigated
and no further information has been released.
Known for playing Terry Brock in 145 episodes of the ABC series
General Hospital
, Bernard was born in Gladewater, Texas, on May 26, 1959 and began singing gospel songs from a young age with her younger sister Crystal, who later starred in the comedy
Wings
.
Her first credited work was the 1981 French feature film
La Diva
, by Jean-Jacques Beneix.
After some appearances in television series such as

, in 1984 he got his big opportunity with the ABC soap opera, where he remained until 1990.
Her character would lead her to serious drinking problems that would paralyze her musical career.
