The blind auditions for “The Voice” had some nice surprises in store for us this Saturday evening on TF1.

Among them, the moving interpretation of the song “Peurs” by Slimane by the talented Noah Gaillard, 22 years old.

The perseverance of the young Breton, who has been trying to participate in the show for seven years, upset the coaches.

INTERVIEW

He never gave up... Noah Gaillard has worked tirelessly for years to pass the blind auditions for

The Voice.

A real obstacle course that never knocked him out Having failed seven times in the casting, Noah persevered and his efforts paid off.

At 22 years old, the physics/chemistry student from Brittany finally presented himself in front of the coaches this Saturday evening, with tears in his eyes and rage in his stomach.

His interpretation of

Fears

of Slimane moved the coaches, who immediately felt the urgency in his voice, his desire to succeed at all costs.

“He brought it all out,” Zazie rightly analyzed, touched to the heart by Noah’s performance, who finally chose to join Vianney’s team.

How did he experience this evening that he had been waiting for for so long?

Interview.

How did you feel during the blind auditions?

I've been waiting for this moment for seven years.

Behind the scenes, I was very stressed.

I needed calm before going in front of the coaches and it wasn't easy because some talents sing before going on stage.

All my anxieties went away when I was called.

I had too many emotions.

I absolutely had to pass.

I was dying to go, and I wanted to cry before I even sang.

This moment was so important to me.

You were rejected seven times from the casting of

The Voice

but you never gave up... Where does this strength come from?

Doing the math, I spent a third of my life trying to get on the show (Laughs).

I never gave up because I promised someone close to me, who has since passed away, that I would.

Even if I had had to try again, at 30, at 40, I would have done it.

I'm a huge force (Laughs).

The Voice

is my peak.

Why this obsession with this show?

For me, blind auditions are legendary, they're legendary.

I needed to get there to tell myself that I was legitimate and that I could make music professionally.

Why did you choose to sing

Fears

of Slimane?

The Voice

team

gave me a list with this Slimane song that I didn't know.

When I read the lyrics, it clicked.

It was obvious to take this song because I recognize a lot of aspects of my life in it, the importance of my little brother, of my family, this journey to

The Voice

The Voice - Flora, 16, makes the coaches shiver: “I started singing after being bullied at school”

What message did you want to send?

I wanted to show people how complicated it is to get to this point.

It's not enough to send a video.

The Voice

is an obstacle course.

It's madness!

When we go to the auditions, we are one of the 100 selected out of 60,000.

I got there but it was hard.

The four coaches turned around... Did you expect that?

No way !

I flew over my dream.

I was totally taken aback.

After the performance, I burst into tears, I let everything go.

My parents and my little brother were there, I was so proud.

You chose Vianney as your coach.

Was it obvious?

There were signs of fate.

Before going on stage, I was told that I wouldn't be able to use my own guitar because it wasn't compatible.

I was given a Vianney signature guitar.

And then Vianney was the very first to turn around and he hugged me after my performance.

At the time of the hug, it was folded (Laughs)!

How does the coaching work?

Everything is fine.

We don't get a lot of time with him, which I understand.

But it doesn't matter because it analyzes everything very quickly.

He's an absolutely brilliant artist.
