This weekend, after 60 years of career, Michel Sardou bids farewell to the stage with two final concerts at Paris La Défense Arena.

He thus closes a tour that is dizzying, with around sixty dates in front of more than 400,000 spectators.

And among them, many young fans.

After 60 years of career, Michel Sardou bows out.

This time it's good, the singer is retiring.

No more song, no more theater... A farewell to the stage which is being played this evening at Paris La Défense Arena.

But before that, the artist performed around sixty dates in front of 400,000 spectators, before a final show in the largest hall in Europe... Michel Sardou's farewell is dizzying.

An intergenerational audience

At 77 years old, the singer prepared for this last lap like an athlete, in particular to regain a powerful voice.

“He trained a lot for this tour, his voice is well composed,” insists pianist and composer Antoine Decrop, who opens for Michel Sardou.

"It's true that I started with a little

preconception

, let's say, of a fairly old audience. I was the first surprised since there are all generations. I meet teenagers and I tell them 'did you come with your parents, your grandparents?'

and they answer me 'No, no, we love Michel Sardou'", smiles Antoine Decrop.
