A fire has destroyed British actress Cara Delevingne's Los Angeles villa.

"I am devastated.

I can’t believe it,” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram on Friday.

“Life can change in no time, so appreciate what you have.” The actress, known from the comedy series “Only Murders in the Building,” among others, thanked the firefighters for their efforts.

The villa in the chic Studio City district burst into flames on Friday.

At the time of the fire, Delevingne was not in the 750 square meter house, which she bought for seven million dollars (6.4 million euros) in 2019.

Two people who were in the house were able to escape to safety, one of whom was treated for minor injuries, according to the fire department.

A firefighter also sustained injuries.

He was treated in a hospital.

Delevingne also posted a photo of her two cats.

"You live!!

Many thanks to the firefighters.” Photos showed severe damage to the villa.

Among other things, the roof collapsed.

The fire department was on site with almost 100 emergency services.

“It took 94 firefighters two hours and 16 minutes to get to the scene of the fire, contain the flames and finally extinguish them,” said a fire department spokesman.

Nothing was initially reported about the cause of the fire.
