The Xihai Grand Canyon, also known as the "Baiyun Valley", is about 15 kilometers long and is located in the west of Huangshan Scenic Area.

In order to ensure the safety of winter tourism and protect the ecological resources of popular scenic spots, Huangshan Scenic Area will implement winter maintenance and closure measures for the Xihai Grand Canyon starting from December 1, 2023.
During the closure of the Xihai Grand Canyon, the scenic area management department carried out multiple inspections to identify potential geological hazards, clean and maintain tourist trails, improve signage, and improve guardrail safety precautions.
The relevant person in charge of the Huangshan Scenic Area said that after the opening of the West China Sea Grand Canyon, the Huangshan Scenic Area will increase inspection, monitoring and enforcement efforts to provide tourists with a safe, comfortable and pleasant visiting environment.
At present, Anhui is planning to build a world-class leisure and vacation tourism destination in Dahuang Mountain, promote the upgrade of traditional sightseeing tourism to modern leisure and vacation health care tourism, and extend the tourism industry to the high-end service industry with cross-border integration, and create leisure and vacation, creative economy, and sports events. , medical and health care, exhibition economy, cultural services and other high-end service industry clusters.
