A few days ago, the platform hall and dock amphitheater of the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbor, Sydney, Australia, were decorated with lights and colorful lights, making it festive and lively. The Xi'an Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau's "Tang Dynasty Tour" was held here.

The tour will take the form of an outdoor stage performance and an indoor national trend tour experience. Local people hold check-in cards printed with auspicious dragon patterns and enjoy cultural experience activities such as traditional Chinese musical instruments, opera, dance, calligraphy, painting, and incense.

Since the New Year in the Year of the Dragon, Xi'an's colorful foreign cultural and tourism exchange activities have been welcomed, covering more than 100,000 people online and offline, attracting domestic mainstream media and overseas local media to report on them, and enhancing the international communication power of Xi'an's cultural tourism.

The "Happy Spring Festival Splendid Chang'an - 2024 Xi'an New Year Folk Culture Exhibition" co-sponsored by the Sydney Chinese Cultural Center and the Xi'an Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau appeared in Sydney.

The month-long cultural exhibition consists of three sections: "Looking for Traces of New Year's Customs", "Insights into Chronicles" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage". It takes Xi'an's annual customs, historical classics and various intangible cultural heritage items as the main content, creating a rich New Year’s custom cultural experience scene.

At the Lantern Festival in Auckland, New Zealand, artists from Xi'an were invited to present ancient poetry, painting, music and dance "My Fair Lady", and red silk dance "Happy Spring Festival Chinese Year" and other programs, pushing the festive atmosphere to a climax.

Tens of thousands of local people participated in the Lantern Festival celebrations.

The "Chinese Culture Day" event co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Australia and Xi'an Culture and Tourism Bureau is the finale of Australia's "Happy Spring Festival" in the Year of the Dragon.

Nearly 200 guests at the scene learned about Xi'an's era of blending ancient and modern times, cultural prosperity, openness and inclusiveness by watching Xi'an cultural tourism image promotional videos, experiencing Xi'an intangible cultural heritage projects, and participating in traditional Chinese games.

After watching the performance up close, the Australian audience said excitedly: "It's amazing, Chinese traditional art is amazing!"

It is reported that more exciting cultural and tourism activities related to Xi'an will be held in Australia.

Online and offline performances such as Xi'an Digital Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Cloud Exhibition, Xi'an World Heritage Cultural Cloud Exhibition, and Xi'an Modern Cultural Creative Cloud Exhibition will continue to showcase Xi'an's historical charm and the new glory of the times in Australia.
