China News Service, Beijing, March 12 (Reporter Chen Su) The reporter learned from the China Meteorological Administration on the 12th that the temperature fluctuations in most of China have rebounded, and the temperatures in many places in the north have successively hit new highs this year, with local temperatures exceeding 20°C.

In early March, warm and cold air alternately affected China, causing temperatures to fluctuate in various places. Except for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Yunnan, where temperatures were significantly higher, the average temperatures in most other areas were mainly on the lower side.

Especially in northern Xinjiang, eastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Guangdong and other places, the temperature was 2 to 4°C lower than the same period in normal years, and the temperature in eastern Inner Mongolia was locally lower than 4°C.

The meteorological department predicts that in mid-March, the cold air will first weaken and then strengthen. The overall force will be weak before the 15th, and the temperature will mainly increase in the north and south. The temperature in many places in the north may reach new highs this year.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that in the next three days (March 12 to 14), the cold air affecting China will be weak, and the temperature in most parts of the country will fluctuate and rise, and the temperature in many places in the north will continue to hit new highs.

It is expected that the maximum temperature in many places in the North China Plain will exceed 20℃, and the maximum temperature in the central and southern Northeast will also reach above 10℃.

The temperature difference between day and night in the above-mentioned areas this week will generally reach more than 10℃, and even exceed 15℃ in some places in northwest, north China and northeastern China.

Taking Shijiazhuang as an example, it is expected that the highest temperature will reach around 22°C on the 14th, the lowest temperature will be only 3°C, and the temperature difference between day and night will reach 19°C.

However, starting from the 14th, cold air will affect Xinjiang, and from the 15th to the 17th, the temperature in the northern region will continue to drop.

Rainfall will increase in the south. It is expected that from the 12th to the 15th, there will be light to moderate rains in the eastern part of Southwest China, Jiangnan, and South China. Among them, there will be heavy rains in parts of southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, central and northern Guangxi, and northern Guangdong.
